Great friendly service, enjoyed the song selections. Food was really Good. I had the blackened shrimp 🌮's, great spice level. Had an order of fried pickles as well, they were great! Definitely would recommend this spot!

Gotta say, this place has some awesome fries! In fact, all the food is really good and reasonably priced. Awesome atmosphere with full bar and a great staff that is always on their game. There is pretty much something for everyone here and is a great place when you are in a group and theres those one or two people who arent quite sure what they want cause they will have something for any direction they may go. Personally for me... the burgers here always leave me in a great mood!

I was so excited about the shrimp tacos, the locals really talked highly of them! Tonight my husband and I got take out because of COVID19...the tacos definitely could of been better! The tacos had lettuce, tomatoes and cheese but no sauce. So the tacos were a little on the dry side. The tacos were served with a side of chips and salsa but it didn’t come with nearly enough salsa..I hope that next time we come, it won’t disappoint us again.

My six year old daughter and I ate here during our week long vacation and it was amazing. I highly suggest the tacos! The beef tacos are incredible and the lobster tacos are even more incredible. My daughter is not a seafood eater; however, they do have a kids menu. She enjoyed the chicken fingers with fries. The service was great! We will come back for sure!

At first I thought this was a dive bar, but I was wrong. This is the place where the locals go. I had low expectation on their food, but it also exceeded my expectation. There is outside seating and a good beer selection.

i ordered chicken tacos and the chicken was medium rare. i could’ve gotten salmonella! my sister got fries and asked for ranch and was refused. i know times are stressful right now, but the staff was very rude and petty. do not come here

I used to go to the Buzz's Roost in Downtown Wilmington and after it closed I was bummed out about that it wasn't there anymore. Found out they still had this one open, and I loved it.They always have great steak and seafood. The 12 oz Ribeye is amazing. The only gripe I have is that they don't serve it with red potatoes anymore and I wish they did. Nevertheless, the food here is great and the atmosphere is relaxed as well.

Awesome food! Highly recommend... The fried pickles, Bang Bang shrimp and the Grouper tacos are the best! Definitely will be back! And NEVER forget the drinks! 😆

Food was just ok, while our waitress was really nice the service was slow and we were only the second people in there after opening. We got fried shrimp tacos and apparently they fry the tortilla too, it was too crunchy to be able to get a good bite. It was also very hot inside.

Went here as a family last year. Looks like a dive bar from the decor but the food and service was great. They have a kid's menu and good-sized portions for adults. Shrimp tacos were the best we've had!

The Smokehouse burger was actually the best burger of my life, not even being dramatic! It was SO GOOD! They also had amazing fried pickles! The service was fast & everyone was very friendly. 13/10 would recommend.

The peel and eat shrimp were huge! And the fish taco specials were delicious and super fresh. Possibly the best seared ahi taco I’ve ever had!

A good chill out place to hangout by the Carolina beach. Good beer and chicken. Must try.

Staff are extremely unprofessional and petty. Including the manager (the bigger woman?) and the bartender who assumed the position of a “manager” for a split 10 minutes MAGGIE... What a Joke. Food is not good either ...

I ordered beef tacos and drink. The tacos tasted like hotdog chili in a pita bread type shell, hardly any lettuce. And skimpy on the salsa. Service was good and in the past I've gotten the Angry Ahi tacos that were awesome but I felt the need tacos were not worth the price.

Our server didn't have a mask on while serving us which was an instant turn off for me. Never learned her name unfortunately. Tried to order the shrimp kabobs but they were out which is understandable at a time like this so I go the mahi kabobs. Horrible mistake on my part, as I'm writing this now I've had some of the worst diarrhea in years.

We visited on Saturday night and twice during the week all during daylight hours. Ordered the full lb. Of steamed shrimp ($18) with lots of old bay, medium chicken wings, and fried pickles (thick sliced). All were very good. The service was excellent. Each server took care of our every need quickly. Food came out fast.

I got wings and beer! They were both delicious!😋😋 We had been to a few of the bars on the board walk and none were serving food, luckily we checked this place out. Had a cool vibe and the bartender was super nice. Always a plus too when places like this have a late night menu! Theres also another bar connected around back that's open later.

Would not recommend. Very slow service. Bartender wasn’t wearing a mask at all. Our server had hers under her chin. The (hard shell) tacos were soggy and gross. The chips that came with the tacos were stale. Got the completely wrong check for half our party.

It was ok. Asian tacos very good, had 5 entrees and 2 apps on the table between all of us, tacos only thing that made it. The tacos were good, everything else, meh, so so. Do not get the calamari or bang bang shrimp if you are used to what they are usually like.

the inside smells very musty and its very hot which is not nice after you’ve been walking on the boardwalk and beach for a day. the water had an alcohol taste and was not able to try food before leaving.

Excellent food and amazing service! We went in with a group of six and everyone got something different...it was ALL great! Best fried pickles too!We definitely recommend and we will be back!

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The waitress and bartender were attentive and gave us local tips. We will be back for sure.

Outdoor seating dog friendly, good food. Fish tacos were fresh and tasty. Crab legs were good. Corn was soggy. Good place to watch football. Bar gets crowded and noisy. Good place to meet neighbors.

Fun place to eat! The fried pickles were amazing! I got the crabcake sandwich and my boyfriend got the prime rib sliders. My sandwich was huge and very tasty! He enjoyed his sliders as well. The staff was very friendly! Great experience! Thanks!

Absolutely excellent, the fish is fresh and the chef came to our table to make recommendations. The menu has a lot to choose from when it comes to seafood. Would definitely recommend! One of the best restaurants on the boardwalk.

The low country Shrimp 🍤 and grits’s was knock out!! Just a touch of spice but not too much. Crab balls were awesome too.

Local little dive bar feel and not always really the best for a family and little kids but, don't let that fool you from some of the best local seafood you'll find on the island. This place and the PIT are a gem to just hang out and enjoy good local food. The Peel n eat shrimp are really the best you'll Find around.

Best tacos I have ever eaten. Extremely flavorful and tender Rib Eye. Would highly recommend as some of the best food available. Great friendly service.

We stpoed for lunch on a tuesday The food was good, everyone enjoyed their meal. Shrimp platter (grilled) two full screws of fresh grilled shrimp. Pork sliders simple but good. It was right on the board walk and made a nice break during a day at the beach.

This groovy little place has accommodated us twice! We have a rather large great dane that loved all of the attention! Fast service..great food..loving staff!

Trying to eat here now.... my step father is allergic to shellfish to the point where it can kill him and they refuse to separate his food from shrimp. We even asked for them to just clean off a part of the grill to make his burger but they won’t.

The garlic Parmesan wings, amazing, the ahi tacos were an amazing surprise! If you need a friendly fun loving experience stop by and enjoy the wonderful people and food!

Portions are so huge. Wings are top notch.

Crab bites are very good. My party had the tacos and they are amazing very happy. Seemed short staffed but service was great.
